This artwork was handcrafted with Cane, by Job, an artisan based in Vytilla, Kochi with a dream to travel the world with his partner. He has been practising working with cane for twenty-seven years, since his journey through life led him to this flexible material. Cane is a strong and durable material native to Kerala, used for handicrafts and furniture. This piece, made with natural cane and featuring vibrant colors, showcases a symmetrical and intricate pattern, demonstrating the complex weaving techniques possible with this material.
