Course Description

In Scenography: Spatial Narrative Design, students will learn to create immersive environments that bring narratives to life across physical, digital, and hybrid spaces. This course delves into the foundational principles of scenography, applying core design thinking techniques to enhance both creative expression and spatial potential. Through hands-on experience, students will explore how to design atmospheres that integrate spatial design, lighting, sound, and multimedia, utilizing both traditional and digital tools. Moving beyond user-centric methods, they will develop a holistic, context-sensitive approach to spatial storytelling. The course includes key areas such as Exhibition Design, Concert Stage Design, Design Management, Spatial Graphics Design, Wayfinding Design, Theater and Movie Set Design and Lighting, as well as Narrative Techniques. Additionally, students will gain valuable insights through the study of Cinematography and Photography, encouraging creative exploration and visual storytelling across various media.
